About
Jay Brewer is a diverse composer and producer, creating music that blurs lines of genre to capture specific emotions and settings. Bringing his experience of traditional songwriting with music production, he creates his own characterful and rich scores blending the worlds of classical, electronic and cinematic.
Jay is experienced working with both bespoke pieces and towards concept albums.
As a guitarist, Jay has played in various projects including his own originals band Island Lights (FKA The Remedy). The band performed across London and the UK at venues and festivals such as Ronnie Scott’s, Hootenanny’s and Nozstock.
Through the moniker Melliflux, Jay’s own passion project, he releases more upbeat and contemporary tracks often collaborating with other musicians and vocalists.
